THE FUNDAMENTALS OF CIVIL APPEALS
While an appeal follows completion of trial proceedings, preparation for an appeal starts when a case is before the trial court. What a trial lawyer does (or often does not do) significantly affects his or her client’s case on appeal. Join us as we review what every trial lawyer should know about the appellate process to protect his or her client in the event an appeal becomes necessary.
